New for KGES IV

Selection for the Pakistan National Entrepreneurship Team

The Pakistan Business Council

A not-for-profit business policy advocacy platform, established in 2005 by fourteen of Pakistan’s largest private-sector businesses and conglomerates, including multinationals. The PBC works across industries to improve Pakistan’s business environment and to help Pakistani businesses compete in regional and global markets.

The Federal Ministry of Commerce

The Government of Pakistan’s ministry responsible for the country’s commerce and trade policy. Its endorsement brings official, federal-level recognition to KGES.

For its fourth edition, KGES is endorsed by both. Their backing places the summit alongside the institutions shaping Pakistan’s economy, and gives every delegate a platform that reaches well beyond the school.

Modules

What teams compete in

The summit is run as five modules. Each one tests a different side of building and running a business. Every round, when it runs and how it is judged are in the delegate guide (PDF, 0.9 MB).

Idea Den

Participants will develop an original business idea and present it to a panel of judges, followed by a detailed examination of its strategy, financial viability, and long-term potential.

Marketing Madness

Participants will create and present an advertisement, pitch a new product for an assigned brand, and defend a campaign in a simulated press conference under critical questioning.

Crisis at Work

Participants will analyze real-world business dilemmas and case studies, proposing practical solutions while navigating ethical considerations and high-pressure decision-making.

Venture Vista

Participants will manage a portfolio by trading shares across multiple companies while responding to real-time market developments, with the highest portfolio value determining the winning team.

Negotiation Conclave

Participants will engage in simulated high-stakes negotiations, representing opposing interests to reach favorable outcomes through strategic communication, persuasion, and compromise under time and pressure constraints.
